My blogging journey

100th post!

So yesterday I published my 100th blog post! It has taken me the best part of 9 months to get to this point and I’m really quite proud of my achievement now – not quite as life changing as having a baby but a lot less painful!

I have learned a lot along the way but I know I still have a lot to learn and a lot to achieve. At the moment I am enjoying the linkys I participate in, the sense of community and being able to share some of the things I love – my experiences with my family, books & movies I love, recipes I have tried, photos I have taken and random thoughts that have occurred to me.

My blogging plans for the future are modest for the time being – I have an idea for a linky I would like to set up come April and at some point I would love to have a redesign and go self-hosted but I’m just not ready to devote the time I feel would be needed yet. Ideally I would like to become familiar with a few more blogs out there as I have a handful of favourites which I always try and follow currently but its hard to find the time to spread the love any wider at this point!

For now I would just like to say a big Thank You! to all those who have got to know me in cyberspace and to everyone and anyone who has discovered my blog and enjoyed reading through my stream of consciousness.

Reaching 100 can only be considered a very magic moment so I’m linking up to The Oliver’s Madhouse.

  1. Congratulations!!! That’s fantastic. You should be proud. We should all be so proud of your blogs. I get criticized a lot for blogging especially from people that don’t understand it. But the blogging community are ever so helpful, supportive, and my new virtual group of friends! I look forward to reading more of your posts. So happy for you. #magicmoments

  2. Congratulations on getting to the round 100!! It’s weird how you just do what you do and all of a sudden you hit a milestone that makes you sit up and nod your head with a ‘wow! how on earth did that happen?!’

  3. Congratulations! I really enjoy reading though I don’t always manage to comment. On the self hosted thing – it doesn’t take that long, especially as you can pretty much move your lock stock and barrel…the folks at Southwest Broadband are massively helpful too, if you are looking for hosting.
Looking forward to the next 100!

    • Thanks for the advice Michelle – I don’t think I’m quite ready for it yet – if there are any glitches I just won’t have the time to figure it all out! But I’m not too worried about the fact that I have ‘wordpress’ in my title – the fact that its free is pretty cool really.
